Gina Lynn, whose real name is Tanya Mercado, was born in 1974, in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, where she spent the first seven years of her life. After that, her family decided to move to try her luck in the United States, and they settled in Jackson Township, New Jersey. Growing up, Gina was known for her quiet and shy demeanor, and she was raised in a conservative household and went to a Catholic school with rigid rules. However, while she was still attending her Catholic school, she decided to break free and start stripping at a place that was just 20 minutes away. Some of the people who saw her perform would often tell her that she should think about becoming a model. That’s how seductive and sexy she has always been.

This sexy girl of mixed Puerto Rican, Spanish, and Italian roots took their advice seriously and started modeling for various popular magazines, sometimes even participating in sensual solo and steamy all-girl shoots. In 1999, she married another professional adult model, Travis Knight. One time, they were on a photo shoot together, and someone approached them with the offer to film their porn scene. Without hesitating, Gina and Travis both accepted the offer and shot their hardcore scene soon after. The movie is titled “18 in Vegas” (a Midnight Video production). Since then, Gina Lynn has managed to become one of the best and most versatile performers in the industry. Her work has brought her numerous accolades and the opportunity to work with the best studios. Unfortunately for all of her fans, Gina Lynn retired from shooting professional scenes in 2013.
